It’s German in origin and most Americans aren’t familiar with the pronunciation (YOO-lig.) So we typically have to repeat it several times and even spell it out—U-H-L-I-G—when we introduce ourselves. All of which leads to an interesting ‘branding’ conundrum: In the chaotic, overcrowded marketplace of the internet, how do you get people to remember a name like D.E.Uhlig?

You Will Always Remember the Red Sneaker…
In fact it’s already etched into your memory along with my drawing, which I borrowed from my soon-to-be-released ebook The Grannyator™ (see screenshot below.) So now, even if you can’t remember my name, you’ll still be able to find me online by either going to www.RedSneaker.com or simply googling “RedSneaker.” Pretty “sneaky,” huh?
