Argentina vs. Switzerland on 11 July 2026 was the biggest match Kansas City has ever hosted and the final one of the summer. Nearly seventy thousand people packed the stadium on a hot Missouri night, watched the score sit level deep into extra time, and then watched Argentina break it open with a strike from distance in the 112th minute. Quarterfinal result: Argentina 3 to 1 Switzerland, after extra time. This collectible 5" × 7" postcard commemorates the match with hand-drawn Argentina and Switzerland flags, the quarterfinal result, and an original black-and-white illustration of Kansas City Stadium by Kansas City artist D.E. Uhlig.
Printed on heavyweight 100 lb card stock, these were among the most popular pieces at our Union Station booth during the summer of 2026. Fans bought them as match-day souvenirs, collectors assembled full sets, and visitors from around the world carried them home as reminders of the summer Kansas City took its place on the international soccer stage.
